In today’s feature, Sound Off Louisiana‘s founder, Robert Burns, explains the rollout of NoPennyRenewal.com, a website to hold Louisiana legislators accountable for what Burns believes will be an inevitable vote to renew the one cent “temporary” sales tax before it expires on July 1, 2018:

  1. I taught my Brownie Troop how to braid hair in one hour. They were less than
    10 years old.
    Requiring Braiders to have a license is absurd.

Couldn’t agree more, Elaine, and can you believe the one school offering the instruction (and they’re offering a 1,000-hour course even though only 500 hours is requried by the State Board of Cosmetology so they can qualify for Federal grants for “Welfare to Work”) charges $11,000 (and, as they say, “that does NOT include room and board”)? $11,000 in tuition.
