Was Gov. Edwards “protecting Louisiana families” when he demanded the rehiring of domestic abuser Stephen Holliday?

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, who has begun a TV ad campaign wherein he touts his “protecting of Louisiana families.”

Last week, The Hayride released a poll showing Gov. Edwards enjoys an absolutely-stunning 57 percent approval rating among Louisiana residents.

We at Sound Off Louisiana can only attribute such a poll result to the fact that the two Republican contenders for Edwards’ job have simply failed to portray Edwards’ 3 1/2 years as Governor.

Accordingly, it’s our intent to issue weekly (late-Monday or early Tuesday of each week), highly-focused, two-minute videos focusing on that record, the first of which we’re releasing today:

Episode One of exposing the hypocrisy of Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards’ claims that he “protects Louisiana families.”
